Krka National Park by car

Skradinski buk, the waterfall most visitors come for, is five to ten minutes from the A1. Which exit you take depends on how you want to reach it: by the park's bus from Lozovac, or by its boat from Skradin.

What the motorway costs to get there

By car, one way, the Croatian tolls only. Each journey opens with every vehicle's price and every exit on the way.

From the national park's own pages, its 2026 price list and its visitor brochure. Last checked on 3 October 2026.

Which exit

The park recommends the Šibenik exit for its main entrance at Lozovac, and the Skradin exit for Skradin. From Zagreb a car pays €22.10 to Šibenik and €21.60 to Skradin; from Split, €4.20 to Šibenik. Then follow the brown signs: the park warns that navigation apps can lead onto field tracks.

Lozovac: the park's bus

The main road entrance, with free parking all year. From April to October the park's buses take visitors down to Skradinski buk and back, and the ride is in the ticket; on foot it is 875 m. From November to March you may drive the 4 km down to the falls yourself. There are chargers for electric cars at Lozovac.

Skradin: the park's boat

From April to October the park's boat runs from Skradin to Skradinski buk, about 20 minutes, and it too is in the ticket. Buy or collect the ticket at the park's office in Skradin before you board. Parking in Skradin belongs to the town or to private owners and is paid; the park publishes no price for it.

A ticket is good for one visit to each site: arrive by the Lozovac bus, and you cannot leave by the Skradin boat, nor the other way round.

Roški slap and upstream

Roški slap, further up the river, is reached by road from Drniš, Knin or Skradin. From June to September there is no parking at the falls themselves: leave the car at Laškovica or Bogatić and take the park's free bus. Burnum, the Roman camp, can be reached only by road.

Online tickets are for a date, with no hour to keep, and save the queue at the entrance; at the park you can pay in euros or by card. Boat trips to Visovac and further upstream cost extra and are sold only in the park.

Skradinski buk is open from 8:00 to 20:00 from June to August and from 9:00 to 16:00 in winter. The park closes on 25 and 26 December.

Swimming

Not at Skradinski buk: swimming there has been banned since 1 January 2021. It is allowed only at the marked places at Roški slap, Stinice and Pisak, from 1 June to 30 September. No drones; dogs on a lead.
