Croatia has about 1,340 km of tolled motorway, run by three companies. Hrvatske autoceste (HAC), the state operator, has most of it: the A1, A3, A4, A5, A6, A10 and A11, and the stretch of the A7 at Rupa. Bina Istra has the Istrian Y, which is the A8 and A9 with the Učka tunnel. Autocesta Zagreb – Macelj has the A2.
Each company keeps its own price list, which is why a journey over the roads of two of them costs the sum of two tolls. The bypasses of Zagreb and Rijeka, where the systems meet, are free. From 1 March 2027 a single system, Crolibertas, collects for all three.
The length of the network: crolibertas.hr.
Every tolled motorway in Croatia is covered. See also the flat fees at Bregana and Rupa.
